Charles Dellheim

Charles Dellheim, an award-winning scholar, is Professor of History and director of the Kilachand Honors College at Boston University. His books include The Face of the Past: The Preservation of the Medieval Inheritance in Victorian England and The Disenchanted Isle: Mrs. Thatcher’s Capitalist Revolution. His new book Belonging and Betrayal, an epic story that charts the fortunes and misfortunes of a small number of Jewish art dealers and collectors from the late-19th century to the present and spans both Europe and the United States, is scheduled as the lead title on Brandeis University Press’s Fall 2021 list.
