submission guidelines

LGLA welcomes submissions in all fields and charges no reading fees. Please note: LGLA does not accept queries sent by mail. To submit a query, please complete the following query form. The brief description of your book should include its genre and a synopsis or plot summary. Please do not include sample chapters in this query form; LGLA will request them from you if your work suits our list. LGLA will make every effort to respond to your query within a timely fashion. Due to the high volume of queries LGLA receives, responses may take up to several weeks.

I understand that because of your position, you receive numerous submissions of ideas, formats, stories, suggestions and the like; I understand that many such submissions are similar or identical to ideas, formats, stories, suggestions and the like to other materials submitted to you or otherwise available to you. I agree to hold harmless LGLA and its employees against any claim, loss, obligation, liability or expense (including legal fees) that may be asserted against LGLA or incurred by LGLA in connection with the material submitted hereunder.
