James Lilliefors is author of two geo-political thriller novels starring the Mallory brothers: Viral (2012, audio edition forthcoming in 2016) and The Leviathan Effect (2013). Lilliefors is also the author of a mystery novel, Bananaville. The Psalmist, a murder mystery set in the Chesapeake Bay area was published in 2014 and was followed in 2015 by a second in the Bowers and Hunter series, The Tempest. He is currently working on the third Mallory brothers story.
He is a former newspaper editor and an award-winning journalist who has written for The Washington Post, Baltimore Sun, Miami Herald, and the Boston Globe. He was born in Los Angeles, grew up in Washington, D.C. and currently lives in South Florida, where he worked for many years as head writer at the Philharmonic Center/Naples Museum of Art. His non-fiction books include America’s Boardwalks: From Coney Island to California, Ball Cap Nation and Highway 50.
